How much does it cost?
The honest answer is that without a brief and full understanding of what we need to create, it’s really hard to provide an accurate cost. The cost depends on a few things such as the days filming and editing or the filming locations however we aim to provide a quote in the proposal we send you after we receive your project brief.
We work closely with every client to understand who you are, what your business is about and what you want to achieve from your video. We aim to make videos that get great results. We also tailor our services to our client's budget and still offer an exceptional service, a high-end finish and a bespoke, client-centred approach.
What equipment do we use?
The amount of kit is dependant on the nature of the shoot however we film everything on professional broadcast-quality 4K video cameras and use additional kit – such as mics, lighting kit, drones etc. We continually invest in new kit and software to keep up-to-date with the rapidly changing standards of the industry.
Who owns the video once it's completed?
Once your video is delivered and paid for, you own the copyright. You’ve commissioned the work, and it’s yours to use as you wish. You might be surprised to learn that many video production companies insist on retaining copyright of their clients’ work.
What makes Prism Studios unique?
There are probably hundreds of digital video services, all competing for views and attention however at Prism Studios we have spent years as a small team honing our craft, knowing what makes a good video, one that viewers will not just watch, but care about.
Our videos don't just visually stand out from the crowd, they convert and we keep a return on investment in mind. We try to make our videos as engaging as possible using techniques such as optimising your video for specific social media platforms and creating condensed versions for maximum viewer engagement.
Video can seem quite daunting for some people so we try and make our process as easy as possible for the client and take as much planning work of their hands as possible.
We believe our small team has a perfect creative dynamic and we absoloutly love what we do!
We are all about just getting the job done and we believe our work speaks for itself.
How much input do we require from you?
The first step is to provide us with an initial brief for you video. You can arrange a face-to-face meeting or call with us to discuss your project or alternatively, you can fill out our information request form. This will help us understand the project requirements. Once we have received your project brief we will create a detailed bespoke proposal for your approval. From here you can have as much or as little input into the scripting, filming and editing as you’d like. In any case, we’ll keep you informed at every step of the process. We also ask you provide us with any neccessary brand guidelines, assets and logos before we begin.
How long will it take?
It always depends on the needs of the production, but we generally recommend allowing at least two or four weeks for a project. That ensures we have enough time to learn your about your needs and plan the project out accordingly. On the other hand, if a deadline is looming, don’t panic! We can absolutely do jobs in a hurry. We’ve turned projects around on some really tight schedules in the past, but you’re always going to get a better result if you give your video the time it needs to develop.
