ASL (Assembly Solutions Ltd) are a a multi-award winning sub-contract manufacturer of electrical wiring assemblies and control/instrumentation panels. ASL approached us wanting up to date videos and photos for their website, ready to celebrate 25 years in business. With a purpose built 32,000sqft factory in Bolton we had plenty to film. We jumped at the chance of helping ASL with a complete photo and video service. ASL requested new headshots for the entire ASL management team to show on the meet the team page and photography of the factory in action. We also were tasked with creating 8 videos showing each of their products and factory areas including cable assemblies, wire preparation, wiring harnesses, heavy duty cables, control panels etc. The videos needed to show the excellent manufacturing processes, the friendly and professional staff along with the new and advanced technology of which ASL are extremely proud of.

Plenty of planning was key with a job this large since filming days are normally what brings to cost up in video production schedules, that’s why we try and film as much as we can when on site so that when it comes to editing we have everything we need. We had to spend the time making a list of the key machines, processes, and staff to be filmed. We produced a raft of 8 individual films that still included an overall promotional piece. We always look to offer as much ROI as we can to each customer, and focus on achieving the project goals. Therefore, making a series of short videos, appealing to multiple customers would give the best result for ASL.

It was a pleasure working with ASL on this project and we can’t thank them enough for their kind words about our service: "Prism Studios have done a super job creating video content for our new website. We wanted videos that reflected our products and processes, along with showing we're a professional friendly family business - and the guys created exactly that. Paul and Sam were a dream to work with and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. We would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again!”
