From one surprise appearance to another
Word is certainly spreading about the campaign, with Cwm Albion’s team members making an appearance on This Morning this week. John (74), the oldest and longest serving team member, Daniel, Colin, Chris and Shayne made the trip to ITV Studio’s for an interview on the infamous couch. Specsavers ‘Best Worst Team’ campaign, championing grassroots football, is now live with the second episode on their YouTube channel! Harry's Pitch-Perfect Surprise
The lads can’t believe their luck (for once!) as footballing icon Harry Redknapp is unveiled as Cwm Albion’s dedicated coach. Taking on his biggest challenge yet, the team are hoping to see some serious improvements under the watchful eye of the ex-Premier League manager who wastes no time kicking them into shape.
The Cold Kick-off
In the heart of a freezing Swansea morning (precisely -4 degrees!), Prism Studios is back on the pitch, bundled up in layers upon layers and powered by a steady flow of coffee. The chilly air is alive with anticipation and enthusiasm after Harry's appearance. A genuinely lovely guy and one we’re honoured to be working with.
No filmset is complete without bloopers, and there were laugh’s all round during the Harry’s arrival scene. The guy maybe an expert at football but he isn’t such a dab-hand at opening electric car windows! A few takes later, he finally got it right… (but the outtake was too good to leave out of the episode anyway!)
